Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinani, who was elected at the helm of this municipality after an agreement between the four political subjects there, has said citizens of this municipality have decided that the former opposition will be a new government and the former power will be opposition.
“From the political agreement with the four political parties, we have secured 22 votes, while if we translate it into votes, it drops over 11,000 votes. Presevo citizens will be equal, we will be in their service, they have drinking water, waste management, and agriculture and livestock will have priority along with small and medium-sized businesses”.
Sinani is also seeing Belgrade's approach to Albanians who are facing mass displacement as well as socio-economic problems.
However, we coalition partners in Presevo, but even in Medvedja and Bujanoc we have to co-ordinate positions against official Belgrade in order to advance our basic demands”, Sinani has said, announces Klan Kosova.tv.
The new leader Presevo sees her choice at the top of this municipality as historic, as according to her, she has lost Belgrade's influence through the Serbian List and through Albania Arifi in Presevo.
It has also called for co-operation among Presevo representatives with representatives of Pristina and Tirana on the issue of dialogue, saying it is necessary time for the Presevo issue to be discussed at the negotiating table.
“Co-operation between representatives of Presevo and Pristina must be co-ordinated and harmonised to bring processes forward, and especially in this delicate phase that we are facing in the Presevo Albanians and in the final phase of the dialogue, which is vital and the necessity of time for the Presevo issue to be discussed at the chat table”.
While congratulating Albanian politicians for her election at the helm of the Presevo municipality, says Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovo's Albin Kurti have not congratulated but that such a thing has made their associates close.
Lord Rama and Lord Kurti have not yet congratulated me, but their close associates have done so. ”
