Currently in Kosovo are 6 thousand and 559 active cases with COVID-19. Virus this since March 13th of last year, when the first two positive cases appeared and thus far affected 106 thousand and 442 people.
The infection of the Corona virus has killed 2,000 and 208 citizens.
In the latest report, the Kosovo National Public Health Institute ( IKPK, announced 5 dead and 97 new positive cases with COVID-19.
“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- PCR, as well as private and public labs with the RRA method, have tested a total of 2,112 samples taken by SSCKUK and tracking contact cases on the ground, out of which 97 positive cases result. Within 24 hours, five cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Cline 1 case (52), Pristina 1 case (65), Prizren 1 case (76 years), Skenderaj 1 case (75), Vushtrri 1 case (51 years old). The total number of positive cases is 106.442 cases of 554,182 suspected persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 2,208 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 291 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 97.675 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,559<18x1>, reportedly in the latest IKAK report.
The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 30 cases, Ferizaj 9 cases, Podujevo 9 cases, Peja 7 cases, Decani 6 cases, Gjakova 6 cases, Istog 6 cases, Drenas 5 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 4 cases, Gjilan 3 cases, Prizren 3 cases, Lipjan 2 cases, Mitrovica 2 cases, Obilic 2 cases and one case municipalities: Kamenice, Rahovec and Year.
