Vjosa Osman's father speaks for the moment his daughter was elected president of Kosovo

Calls and congratulations aren't stopping.

Someone's phone call didn't suffice, came to see Raif Osman, the father of the President of Kosovo.

Since Sunday, Raif is only accepting congratulations after his daughter was elected the first of the state.

Like any other parent, Raif Osman is happy for his daughter's achievements in politics.

In a conversation about T7, the pensioner Raif tells of the emotions they had the day he was voting in the Assembly.

The mother of Vjosa Osman, a nurse with a profession, had similar emotions.

But it was no surprise.

She says that since childhood, Osman had dreamed of becoming president.

Kosovo's president has been born and raised in the town of Mitrovica.

Residents of the building where Osman's parents still live no doubt attended the session when the latter was voted president.

They even followed him so closely that they forgot other things.

There were others, however, who had tears of joy when last night Vjosa Osmani's name was called as the country's new president.

And those citizens who were able to take pictures of Osman earlier are now proudly showing these pictures.

But the biggest expectations by the new president, Vjosa Osmani, seem to have been the city's youth.

And someone has happened to have a flight to Germany one day after the country's president's election.

But, the latter says that if Osman and Kurti work well, he will return home.

Last night Kosovo took place with new President Vjosa Osmani, who received 71 votes from Kosovo Parliament deputies.
