The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca have homazhe on Pristina martyrs in Velani.
On this occasion President Osmani said that today is one of the days when all of them come together to honor the basic sacrifice that each of the martyrs in this region made us enjoy freedom.
It is the day when we should talk to new generations about the bravery of Kosovo martyrs, martyrs who as part of our liberation war and KLA fell by defending Kosovo. They fell indicating that the sacrifice for freedom and homeland is the most subtle love that can have a man”, Osmani said.
She added that they are all remembered today, reminding themselves of the brightest guide for us is the way each martyr has built.
On the other side, The KLA has also mentioned Kosovo Assembly Speaker Glauk Konjufca.
I think that the most glorious part of the new history of Kosovo and our nation is our liberation war of the KLA and the fall of over 2 thousand of 500 martyrs, the fall of 14 thousand martyrs during the last war in Kosovo, so glory to all martyrs and martyrs who gave their lives for the freedom of Kosovo”, Conjufca has declared.
We remember that President Vjosa Osmani was recently criticised because when he commemorated the fall of hero Agim Ramadani spoke of him and the Battle of Kosara, not mentioning the Kosovo Liberation Army at all.
