Agency “MHRA” runs a schema of the VE “card” to detect side effects or other concerns about medicine and medical equipment.
Among the recent figures published by this agency, there have been 22 reports of blood clotting in the brain called “trombosa cerebral venus” [ THE CVST translation may not be adequate.
However, these cases remain rare: The MHRA notes that by March 24th, 18.1 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine have been given, Write The Guardian, translate Periscope.
There have been two other cases of the CVST among people who have received Pfizer doses/ B NTech as well.
Concerns about blood clotting have caused many countries to halt these doses.
According to the EMA, by March 22nd there have been reports of 14 people dead from the unusual blood clot in AstraZeneca dose recipients, in more than 9.2 million doses given.
