Periscope: You have stated that in Mitrovica the largest KSF barracks will be built, for which a response came from Serbian President Vucinq as a provocation. How do you comment?

Agim Bahtiri: I didn't see that statement and what he had to say but we are independent and sovereign states. The Mitrovica municipality has its own property and its institutions and defence ministry's request for parcels that they wish to have to make investments in that part. I did it in the Mitrovica Parliament and was approved by all votes. Serbia's president lets him look at his own affairs in his own country and not in Kosovo, and he can never in his life interfere with the Mitrovica municipality for decisions our municipality makes.

Periscope: How do you view his ongoing provocations?

Agim Bahtiri: These provocations come from Serbia, not from us. We'll make a base there for KSF and that's good for all citizens regardless of nationality, but such interventions will never be made. As for fear, I don't know who's scared here. We'll try very hard to interact with them and in particular cases protect them from any threat that may come to you from other countries. But we want understanding, good neighborhood. But I will never vice Serbia for the jobs we will do within Kosovo.

Periscope: We are on the verge of voting the president. Do you have any information on when the session will be held or does Vetevendosje have votes for the president?

Agim Bahtiri: It is the issue of the Kosovo Assembly. But I personally say it's the right of each MP to vote in their sound mind. But let them know that never in the Kosovo Assembly has a president come to vote with over 300 thousand votes, and I think it's legitimate even by citizens but also us, that they have elected citizens. I think it should be worked indiscriminately, he is an MP and should not be of political parties, but of the Republic of Kosovo and decisions should be made in the best interests of the country.

Periscope: Do you see Vjosa Osman worthy of president?

Agim BahtiriSo far, there hasn't been, and I'm hoping there won't be, and may be in the future, but at the moment there's no more worthy than Osman. You know the circumstances, it's politically mature, courageous and fair. I love her because she has her own position, vision, regardless of political parties. So should we have a president, not party, but a man who is devoted to all citizens.

Periscope: Should opposition parties stay in the hall when the president is voted on?

Agim Bahtiri: I appeal to all MPs, no matter which political party they belong to, to vote to form institutions and start working because we have extremely many other jobs and problems waiting for us and there is no luxury of Kosovo going to elections every three months and every 1 year.

Periscope: Do you think that Kosovo is in danger of going to the elections again?

Agim Bahtiri: I think VV has the only option which is this Vjosa Osman option. We have addressed the people with prime minister and head of state and cannot make decisions outside the will of the people.

Periscope: We have local elections now in October. Would you run for Mitrovica chairman?

Agim Bahtiri: Yes, I will run for chairman and be chairman of Mitrovica. 100 percent. First round, I'm gonna make 65 percent.
