Here is a full interview:
Periscope: What is the current situation with COVID-19 in place?
Valbon Krasniqi: We know how long the situation is getting worse. We have extended patients of the CKUUK and general hospitals. Currently, this number is approaching 900 because we have 865 patients who are receiving treatment from general hospitals and QKUKA clinics. Of them 36 are in serious condition, located in intensive care departments. While about 670 patients are in constant Ogeniorapy.
Periscope: According to your estimates, would measures have to be roughed up in order to maintain public health?
Valbon Krasniqi: The National Institute of Public Health makes assessing the country's epidemiological situation and, according to indicators and the current situation, proposes measures.
Periscope: Do you think the Kurti government will toughen anti measures - CO VID?
Valbon Krasniqi: But look, we as KSKUK are to provide hospital treatment to all patients who are seeking and in need of hospital treatment, while there are other institutions that deal with determining measures. We've constantly been looking like the SHSKUK that we definitely need to be careful. We have the virus present, and however, we have to have individual and collective care, as this large number of cases is very disturbing to our existing capacities.
Periscope: What should be considered if the Government decides on new measures?
Valbon Krasniqi: Among the indicators that should be taken into account, however, are hospital capacities and the number of hospital admissions. The number of those who get sick develop forms of disease that require hospital treatment in relation to those who result in COVID.
