Dusan Obrenovic, 24, born of a mixed Albanian-Bosnian marriage, was born under the name Sylejman Muratovic but who chose to embrace Orthodox faith. Serbian media paid close attention after he took part in the liturgy for the Serbian bishop Atanasij of Herzegovina and Zahumje, who died of the Coronavirus.
Dusan became known for the general public in Serbia in 2018 when he passed into Orthodoxy.
“I didn't go into Orthodox faith I just returned, because our ancestors were Orthodox”, he was quoted as saying.
