Dr. Chana Swan, writes that humanity is facing an existential <x0-creasing” in fertility rates as a result of ftatas, a chemical used during plastic production that affects the endocrine system that produces hormones, China reports.
As a result of this pollution, it writesSkynews, a growing number of babies are being born with small penises, writes Dr. Swan.
Her book, entitled Count Down, examines “although our modern world is threatening the number of sperms, changing the reproductive development of men and women, and endangering the future of the human race”
Dr Swan's research began by examining ftata syndrome, something observed in mice that revealed that when fetuses were exposed to chemicals, they were likely to be born with contracting genitals.
She discovered that male babies who were exposed to flates in the womb had a shorter angogenic distance of something related to the volume of the penis.
Chemicals have an industrial use in making plastic more flexible, but Dr Swann says it is being broadcast into toys and food and then damaging human development.
