The statement's on. President Vjosa Osmani of the BBC, where he said that “Kosovo is a crime-ridden country and corruption”, has awakened numerous reactions in Kosovo.
Political issue recogniser Fitim Salihu, in a proposal for Periscope, has said he sees this statement from Osman as harmful.
Serbia repeatedly says we are a failed state and that Albanians do not know how to make a state. It is not principal for the president of Kosovo himself to say that. Corruption is available in every country of the democratic world, including Britain, in whose medium she spoke, but does not listen to the heads of that country speak with the enemy's language when they describe their state”, Salihu said.
On the other hand, he said Vjosa Osmani has been part of what she calls “the state's capture”.
Moreover, Vjosa Osmani has been part of what she calls state capture for 15 years. Whether she had executive powers or not, with her silence she has approved all the negative actions of her former chiefs, until it's broken with them, Salihu said.
Reactions to Osman's statements have also been made by the opposition, who have named these statements scandalous for coming from the U.D. of the President of Kosovo. /Periscopi
