German Chancellor Angela Merkel is seeking to extend restrictions on preventing the spread of the coronary by April, the AFP reports, citing a government document.
Chancellor Merkel's discussions with land leaders will take place on Monday (March 22nd). Germany is facing an increase in the number of people infected with coronarys. The DPA agency reports that because of this situation, the government could take additional isolation measures.
During the past week, the number of those infected for 100,000 residents for all of Germany has increased to 103.9, the Institute for Infectious Diseases Robert Koch (RKI) said on Sunday. The passing of the 100th digit often means that the rules against pandemic must be empowered. For example, on Friday, authorities in the city of Hamburg imposed measures after the level of seven days increased over 100. Now this region is in a much more severe impasse.
On Sunday (March 21st), 13,733 new cases of the infected were reported, until a week earlier, 10,790 were reported. Authorities recorded 99 new deaths related to COVID-19, while 70 victims were reported last Sunday.
According to RKI, from the beginning of the pandemic in Germany, 2,659,516 cases of coronary. The total number is likely much higher, since many cases of the infected are not revealed.
