“at 8:00, Wood. President Vjosa Osmani expects at the meeting the EU's charge for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak”, the Presidency's announcement said.
Similarly, he has gone directly to the offices of the Vetevendosje Movement, where he is hosted by the chairman of this political subject, Albin Kurti.
On the eve of his visit to Pristina and Belgrade, Lajcak found himself in the spotlight. Earlyly, he posted a photo from his office to Twitter, but attention went where the s '%s' had gone to the European emissar's mind on the map behind him where Kosovo was within Serbia's borders.
His and EU efforts to explain, provoked new reactions. Lajcak explained that this was the official map of the EU, that Kosovo was there, and that it was there to separate Kosovo from Serbia, but that line was much more thin than those marking the state borders of other countries. Finally, he seems to have seen in this a confirmation of the importance of dialogue.
Although the president of the United States of America, Joe Biden called on Serbia for mutual recognition with Kosovo, the European Union believes that only Pristina and Belgrade can reach the necessary compromise.
European Union spokesman Peter Stano has said the main goal of dialogue is to reach a comprehensive agreement, while not mentioning mutual recognition.
