Today Kosovo is supplied with anti-vaccinators - CO VID, these are the first people to be vaccinated

Kosovo today is expected to be supplied with 24 thousand doses of anti vaccine. - CO VID.

Although the Health Ministry has said several times that Kosovo has met the criteria for supply of vaccines, the country is one of the last countries to be supplied with vaccines today.

Out of 100 thousand and 800 doses of the promised vaccines in the first round of supply, Kosovo today will be supplied with 24 thousand doses.

The rest are promised to come by May.

While competent health institutions in Kosovo in February have drafted the state vaccine plan against COVID -19. Based on this plan, the Committee for Vaccination has seen the process take place in three stages after the introduction of the vaccine.

With the arrival of vaccines, those who will be vaccinated first will be a part of health workers, older people over 80 and elderly and chronically ill citizens.

The rest of citizens will be vaccinated with other vaccines expected to come by May.

In some municipalities, however, preparations have already been made for the vaccination of citizens.

In Pristina, the “1 October” hall has been prepared as a vaccination centre, where even health workers are expected to be vaccinated.

In other municipalities, the vaccine will be conducted at the Family Medicine Centres.

With the arrival of the vaccine supply from COVAX, the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, and Health Minister Arben Vitita, will participate in the first anti-mocation contingent's accession ceremony COVID-19. This container was enabled by the U organization. NICEF, via COVAX programme.

We remember that in the absence of the vaccine, Albania has so far vaccinated about 500 Kosovo health workers with the Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
