Kosovo police have saved four people trapped in snow in the Zhur Bees.
That's how they made it known by the Kosovo Police, who have shown that they accepted the information initially that 2 people were detained, but after the operation it was found to be about four people.
The search for persons in question has lasted several hours and then physical contact with persons has been achieved.
This is the full announcement:
With the intensifying of snowfall these days in our country, the Kosovo Police have been engaged in the field with its unit despite conditions and atmosphere circumstances that have ruled. At the same time, it has been required of all to have increased care during the circulation or movement in different roads or areas during atmospheric rainfall.
By the date of 22,03.2021, about 11:40, the Kosovo Police have accepted a tip that two (2) people who were walking on the mountain road, but who had difficulty reaching Zhur's Bees, were stuck in snow.
Police have immediately begun organising the search and rescue operation of these people and have managed to see through contact with them that there are four (4) people who are far away and have difficulty. Two (2) vehicles, one vehicle, and four (4) police officials have been engaged from the border supervisory station (SPMK) in Vmica.
After a few hours of police research, physical contact with the rest of the people on the mountain has been reached to reach Zhur. About 4: 00 p.m. the same day, feeling themselves in good condition and without the need for any medical treatment, people in question have returned home safely.
Kosovo police remain committed to serving everyone indiscriminately and offering necessary assistance wherever and whenever citizens need or consider that the police can help you. Only through active cooperation can we overcome difficult situations more easily.
