Lipjan Mayor Imri Ahmeti, today at the headquarters of the Democratic League of Kosovo party (LDK) in Pristina, has clarified that this party on Monday has not held meetings with structures or branch heads.
LDK branch chairman in Lipjan Ahmeti, accompanied by Peja Chairman Gazmend Mujajeri, said that today in the party they have had a meeting only for coffee with the new LDK chairman, Lumir Abdjiku.
Ahmeti said the new leadership is still under construction and is left to make the agenda for the general council's call.
No, absolutely, the chairman's consultations with the branch heads will continue now, with the people he thinks should consult. There was no meeting, it's been the occasion after the hotel we had in the historic president. The new leadership hasn't been introduced yet. It is expected, the chairman will certainly make it his agenda to call me the General Council, and this council is a body that decides on headship with the nomination of Chairman”, Ahmeti said.
While yesterday in the LDK assembly, 191 votes had elected the new chairman of this party, Lumir Abdixhiku. Lutfi Haziri and Besian Mustafa were in the race.
