Hyseni: Lajcak told me he was continuing dialogue on how we started the deal within a few months.

The state dialogue co-ordinator, Skender Hyseni, has said he too has met with the EU's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Tuesday, Miroslav Lajcak. I had an appointment with Lajcak. I had an appointment with Lajcak. He wanted to meet with me and give his perspective on how he viewed the continuation of the dialogue resumed in July last year. It had come to learn more about the views of political party leaders and, in particular, the winning party”.
Hyseni has said that the renewed dialogue led by the Hoti Government has made significant progress in addressing the key elements of a comprehensive agreement.
The incumbent's “government and I as co-ordinator have been taken care to present and provide for the EU mediator a clear framework of principles on how to develop dialogue and what that comprehensive package should contain. And most importantly, any agreement makes sense to the country's unitary sovereignty and character. The constitutional arrangement is not to be touched, and Lajcak has made it clear to”.
Hyseni, who had declared that dialogue is a matter of months and no doubt years, said the flow of dialogue was halted due to the collapse of the Hoti Government.
“Dialog was in healthy flow that inevitably led to a mutual recognition of Kosovo- Serbia and I believe that even after this break the future government will continue where we left off.
Lajcak told me today that if the process continues in that framework in which it was started in a few months, it could be reached (the agreement)”.
