The Constitutional Court in Pristina has approved the Basic Prosecutor's request in Pristina for the appointment of detention measures against defendants A.B. Because of the suspicion based on having committed criminal acts taking bribes from Article 421, paragraph 1 and Misuse of official position or authority, by Article 1414, paragraph 2 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code. The defendants A.B., the court has assigned the detention measure in length of 1 (one) month after confirming that the initial conditions with Article 187 have been met, paragraph 1, below paragraph 1.1 and 1.2, points 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code”, the report said.
The court suggests the suspect has damaged the beneficiaries of subsidies.
“defendant A.B. The prosecution alleged that in the quality of the official person, it has acquired huge value of money by damaging the beneficiaries of subsidies which the Republic of Kosovo has deliberately assured agriculture development, allegedly committed criminal acts of bribery and misuse of official position or authority”, the Court suggests.
Meanwhile, Express on Tuesday has reported exclusively that the official arrested in Pec allegedly benefited 48 thousand euros illegally.
