Albanian parties receive Facebook warning

Albanian political parties must make transparent the way they finance their political advertising on the social Facebook network before next month's elections.

That's what Facebook company said on Monday.

According to a statement published by Facebook, all electoral and political ads in Albania should come from authorized and involved advertisers, as well as from this Thursday, the Associated Press reports.

Parliamentary elections in Albania are scheduled to be held on 25 April, and both major parties -- the Socialists and the Democrats -- submitted their election lists.
