Ahmeti: We'll buy 30 new buses this year, eight of them electric

Pristina municipality Chairman Shpend Ahmeti has said that in the first part of 2021, negotiations will begin on the purchase of 30 new urban buses for the municipality. Ahmeti has made something like this known through Facebook, as he said his electoral commitment to 80 public-owned buses would be fulfilled through this investment.
“In the first part of this year, we will finalise negotiations on buying 30 new buses, in which case we will complete the pledge for public-owned buses (80). Eight buses will be electrical, according to discussions with the BERH”, he said.

The number of buses bought by the mayor of the capital last time was 21, in 2018.
