17 dead and 781 new cases: Test number down

781 new cases with Coddy-19 within the last 24 hours of only 3645 samples taken at Hospital Service.

The worst news, though, is the death toll as a result of the vivid infection.

In the last 24 hours, in the lab of molecular microbiology at IKKPK and private labs with RT- PCR, as well as private and public labs with the RRA method, have tested a total of 3,634 samples obtained from the SSCKUK and the tracking of contacts in the field, of which 781 positive cases result.

In 24 hours 17 cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Fushe-Kosovo 2 cases (52, 41), Gjilan 2 cases (81, 79), Prizren 2 cases (70, 83), Suhareka 2 cases (77, 78), Drenas 1 case (77), Gjakova 1 case (86 years of age), Istog 1 case (74), Lipjan 1 case (60), Mitrovica 1 (81), Pristina 1 case (21), year 1 (69), Vushterri 1 case (65), Feriz 1 (78).

The total number of positive cases is 84,498 cases out of 397,347 suspected persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,803 cases of death.

During the last 24 hours, 764 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 69,887, while the number of active cases is 12.808.

The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 243 cases, Ferizaj 76 cases, Gjilan 68 cases, Gjakova 60 cases, Mitrovica 44 cases, Peja 40 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 38 cases, Podujevo 37 cases, Prizren 25 cases, Obiliq 17 cases, Kamenica 15 cases, Kline 13 cases, Decani 12 cases, Suhareka 12 cases, Rahovec 9 cases, Drenas 7 cases, Istog 7 cases, Skenderaj 6 cases, Lipjan 4 cases, 4 cases, 4th, Gracakan, 3 cases, Çakancanan case, 3 cases, Enik Hanushnik, Eznik, Istoks, Istok, and 2Kkolo and 2 municipalities.

In view of the dynamic and real-time assessment of the epidemiological situation with COVID - 19, 781 positive cases have been reported today, presenting the largest number of positive cases this year with a tendency to increase the following few days. Only in Pristina were 243 positive cases reported. We express sympathy for the 17 cases of deaths reported over the last 24 hours.

The number of positive cases and deaths by COVID-19 continues to be high and concerned as a direct result of neglect of the measures.

Doctors overloaded in hospitals are struggling against this subtle, destructive virus with all their professional and human power.

IK The KPS reiterates the call for implementation of all general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prevention measures are the same as a particular axient that positive people should stay at home to prevent family and community spread. With the reduction in contacts, we'll make it possible to disrupt the spread of infection.

So we recommend again:

1. Stay at home, and exit is just necessary;
2. The rigorous ban on dating people you don't live with in communities, except for specific purposes;
3. Rigorous stop of gatherings;
4. rigorous respect of restrictive measures in public activities;
5. Restricting work on non-secial activities and events while reducing work time during the day.

IK The KPS estimates that these measures could cut the increase in number of cases, prevent the overload of hospitalizations and prevent the death toll from increasing.

IK The KPS appeals to all citizens, institutions, and public and private organisations, to the respect and undertaking of all necessary measures for prevention, management and control of COVID-19, taking into account the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and decisions in force on the measures and obligations of institutions to implement general and specific measures for protection from the CORVID-19 pandemic.

In particular, we call for implementation of recommendations and respect of restrictive measures for public activities, respectively, restrictions on the collection of citizens and public gatherings.

Collecting citizens without masks and keeping distance increases the risk of spreading infection while the SARS-COV-2 virus is present among us.

We appeal to the responsible institutions, Kosovo Police and the responsible inspectors respectively, to carefully monitor and take all necessary actions to implement measures and other decisions in force in the implementation of the Law on Prevention and Combating COVID-19 in the Republic of Kosovo.
