“When I was in Kosovo facing an angry Serbian mob, we almost shot these people,” said Hobbits. Because it's scary... but we were disciplined”.
The Washington Senate has voted on Thursday to stop carrying firearms and others, not only at the Capitol State campus, but also in public spaces throughout the country.
The passage of this 5035 amendment comes after several months of protests across the country against the killing of colored people by law enforcement forces, writes thedailyworld.com, broadcasts Klonkosova.tv.
After more than an hour of debate, the bill was passed into the room controlled by Democrats with 28-20. The same bill is now expected to go to the House of Representatives for review.
In an emotional speech, Senator Steve Hobbs has shown the reasons why he has voted against carrying arms in the hands of authorities during the protests.
“When I was in Kosovo facing an angry Serbian mob, we almost shot these people,” said Hobbits. Because it's scary... but we were disciplined”.
Because I guarantee if you're not disciplined enough when you're stoned and when you have a firearm,” added the Hobbits later, “you'll use that fire gun”.
