Study authors 2018 claim that running can help protect brain health, while old research has linked the course to slower aging. The study included 14 studies involving a total of 232,149 participants.
Studies followed the participants' health results. Some people were followed for 5 and some for 35 years. During the interrogation period, 25,951 participants died. When researchers analyzed the data from 14 studies, they found a link between any amount of running and a 27 percent lower risk of death by all causes.
The research team linked the race to a 30 - percent lower risk of dying from cardiovascular diseases and a 23 - percent lower risk of cancer - related death.
The World Health Organization's guidelines and national recommendations for physical activity in many countries suggest that adults should exercise at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 minutes of heavy physical activity a week.
