British ambassador reacts after beating Nenad Rashiqi's son

The ambassador of Great Britain to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, has condemned the beating of former Prime Minister Nenad Rassic's son.

He has called on police to find the culprits as soon as he has said such acts are unacceptable regardless of who they happen to be.

“Lajmi for attacking Nenad Rassic's son is disgusting whatever the motive is. That kind of violence, whether physical or verbal, is unacceptable against anyone, blood but is especially shocking to a new person. I ask Kosovo police to investigate the incident quickly and find those who have initiated and participated in the” incident, he has said.

Former Prime Minister Nenad Rassic's son has been beaten before the school today, where he follows his lesson in the village of Llapsela of Gracanica. In connection with the case, Kosovo Police have accompanied 8 people, one minor.

Kosovo Police spokeswoman Flora Ahmetaj has confirmed the case.

“Today, around 12: 00 p.m., we've received information about a beating in progress in the vicinity of the Lapnasella School, where some people have been involved. Once you get the information, the necessary police units have been released to the scene. Based on the first information allegedly a male person has suffered injuries and the same has been sent for medical treatment”, she said.

The police have been escorting 8 suspected persons (one minor) to the police station. Currently, work is continuing to clarify circumstances and motives that characterize the event.”, Ahmetaj added.

The son of the Serbian politician in Kosovo, Nenad Rassic, is reported to have been beaten as he left the school at Lapnelle in Gracanica.

According to the first information, he was attacked by a group of people who are said to have had strong tools with him.
