Today, 21 years are filled by the massacres that took place at night between February 3rd and 4th of 2000 in northern Mitrovica, with the cerrast éjares éjaves killed 10 Albanians, among whom children, women and older men, injured many others as they expelled some 12 thousand Albanian residents who were forced to cross south of the city, leaving their homes on fire.
KMLDNY had said all these murders were committed in the presence of French soldiers of KFOR and international police.
In contrast, on the night between February 3rd and 4th of 2000, Neziri and Shqira Voca, Niman Sejdiu, Bashkim Rrukeci, Sehbika Abashi, Selime Berisha, Muharrem Sokoli, Honor Ajeti, Nerian Jaka and Remzije Canhasi were killed.
According to witnesses, the murder operation had led him Serbia's MUP, at the head of former commander Dragan Delibashiq, Oliver Ivanovic and others, while the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica in 2014 found Oliver Ivanovic guilty of nine years in prison for war crimes against Albanians during and after the war in Kosovo.
While in January 2018, Oliver Ivanovic was killed with firearms in front of his office in north Mitrovica. Court hearings are still under way.
