Democracy.com has learned that a few months ago, Vetevendosje MP Salih Zyba has been employed by his wife at the Kosovar Insurance Bureau, which is led by Sami Mazreku.
Sofije Zyba, wife of the Vetvendosje Movement MP, has been employed at the Department of Harms at the Kosovo Insurance Bureau, and she, according to sources within this institution, is paid by Kosovo citizens' taxes of over 1,000 euros monthly salaries.
Democracy. com is also interested in the Kosovo Insurance Bureau, but this institution has not returned to editorial questions about MP Salih Zyba's wife's employment.
Besides, Democracy.com has contacted the director of the Kosovo Insurance Bureau, Sami Mazrek. He has not denied Sofie Zyba's employment, he has not wanted to answer the phone, and he has requested that questions be forwarded to the electronic address for several days without an answer.
Even more serious is the fact that there are currently workers at the Kosovar Insurance Bureau who after ten years of work have left and no contracts have been continued.
In declaring his wealth for 2019, 2020 and 2021, Vetevendosje Movement MP Salih Zyba has not stated that his wife was employed somewhere.
And in 2018, in MP Zyba's statement of property, it figures that his wife worked in the private sector, at a company in Pristina, respectively.
