Croatian President Zoran Milanovic and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic have had several clashes between them recently.
Croatian President Zoran Milanovic as supreme commander of the Army had bypassed the defence minister as authority and, according to Defence Minister Marija Banozic, the Croatian president wanted to send the military to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Without my knowledge and approval, you wanted to send the army across the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina, we prevented the scandal in the last minute”, the defence minister said.
It remains unclear when such action took place and whether it has anything to do with the immigrant crisis in Croatia or with anything else.
