The electoral panel for complaints and parachutes has condemned Bekim Jashari's party to a thousand-800-euro fine ticket because of violating the Code of Goodwill for Political Partys, in case of breaking the election silence through social networks.
PZAP made that decision following complaints filed by the Democratic Party.
The panel argues this decision with the fact that the assembly candidate from Jashar's party, Alketa Mecin, and activists Hajdar Beka, Arben Mehmeti, Gezim Gashi, Shekip Fazliu and Ramiz Shala, on election silence day have promoted encouraging electoral materials by calling to vote for the candidate for the mayor of Skokim Yashari and the candidate from this political subject, Alketa Mecin.
“In support of their political subject claims, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, along with complaints, has attached printed photos of alleged violations according to complaints”, the panel ruling said.
