Ahmeti responds to the eurodeputes: Gas pipeline rejection was not due to conservation

Pristina municipality head Shpend Ahmeti has responded to Eurodeputet Violet von Cremon, in terms of refusing the US gas pipeline project by the Government of Kosovo. Ahmeti assured the Eurodeput that this is not the reason for the project's refusal. Ahmeti said it's actually the opposite.
That's because of the environment. It's actually been done for the opposite reasons. The government is arguing that while we have coal, we should not invest in gas”, Ahmeti wrote.
We remember that the Eurodeput is part of the Green Party in Germany and had rejected the Russian gas project in its country.
However, Germany chose to supply Russian gas, despite objections by Violet von Cremon's party.
