Serbian newspaper “Politika” writes that members of the Kosovo Security Force (“Kosovo Army” will become part of the Alliance's peacekeeping missions in Iraq and Syria.
The paper writes that Albanian political parties, which are campaigning for early parliamentary elections, unanimously agreed to accept an invitation sent by America to Pristina last year and approved sending KSF members to NATO peacekeeping missions as part of American troops.
Historian Srdjan Graovac from the Centre for Social Stability says Kosovo is an independent state for the United States and that they have not given up and will not give up on that policy.
He has said announcing joint exercises is a kind of pressure on Belgrade.
Whatever Americans are doing is not random, and these actions are aimed at strengthening the so-called independence of Kosovo. Therefore, Kosovo's involvement in American military missions is only a continuation of that policy. America allegedly opposed the formation of the Kosovo Army, even though it conflicts with the Brussels Agreement,” said Graovac.
