Serbia's Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that the biggest problem in the Land Security Zone with Kosovo is what he has called the armed <x0-pounders of forest thieves who invade Kosovo and often shoot at Serbian security forces”.
Volin in an interview for the Serbian portal “Kosovo Online” has also talked about co-operation with KFOR.
He says the situation in the Earth Security Zone is quiet at the moment, but according to him, “this does not mean that changes cannot happen very quickly”.
“What endangers the situation in the Land Security Zone are the frequent Albanian bands of forest thieves who pass, cut forests, create serious problems and very often shoot at members of Serbian security services”.
“They are always equipped, armed and it is clear that they are organized criminal gangs. KFOR doesn't help us at all. They believe it is not their responsibility, and Kosovo police are acting more like an ally than someone who should prevent them from committing such crimes”, he said,
