Vucinqi guarantees Serbia will not recognise Kosovo's independence by 2022

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has reiterated his statement that he will not recognise Kosovo's independence. He has said he provides guarantees that this will not happen until the 2022 elections, which he has warned from the day he won his new mandate during June 2020. “I don't know [...]
I don't know what would have to happen to change that. We've given everything from ourselves. We have made a wise policy, we have protected Serbs from conflict. By not becoming the hero, we have preserved the lives of Serbs in Kosovo. We invested in their attitude. I know 1,000 people who would like to fight for countless reasons, but when I ask them what if your brother was going back in the coffin, they think otherwise”, Vuciqi said in an interview for “Vecernje Novosti”.
He has also said that with Albanians it is difficult to discuss, as according to him, they do not keep their promises and change their positions.
It has also indicated that it expects Serbia's pressure to increase following the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the US elections.
