In a new video message, President Trump said that now that Congress has certified the results, the new “administrator will be inaugurated on January 20th” and its “focus now returns to ensuring a smooth and regular transition of power”. He also spoke against violence in the Capitol, calling it a disgusting “fight”. President Trump said he was “angered by violence, as well as violation of law and order”.
Lord Trump did not speak of his role in promoting violence. But he told his supporters that, while he knows they are “disappointed”, he wants them to know that our extraordinary “travel has just begun. ”
