Merkel goes against Twitter and Facebook for Trump: Much Disturbing Ban

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is concerned about the permanent suspension of US President Donald Trump's Twitter account, her spokeswoman has said.

Stephen Seibert told reporters in Berlin that the Chancellor considered the ban to be “problem”, writes DW, translates Periscopi.

In view of that, the Chancellor finds the president's account permanently suspended. ”

She added that stops for free speech should be taken by law, not private companies.

Social media giants Twitter and Facebook consistently suspended Trump's accounts after the deadly riots in the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday. Five people died in that conflict. /Periscope
