Already there a group of 93 intellectuals has sent an open letter to the Serbian Academy through which they have requested Vladimir Kostic's dismissal after statements given to Kosovo.
Kostic had said that “somebody should tell these people that Kosovo is neither de facto nor de jure in our hands”.
Subscriptors of this letter are Miladin Arevarlic, Boglub Shijakovik, Milan Lekiq, Slobodan Vladukh, Slobodan Antonovic, Caslav Corpivica, Dusan Prokorovic, Milan Brdar, Misa Djurkoqiv, Slobodan Relic, Dragoslav Bocan.
Regarding Kostic's statements, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Serbia's Parliament head Ivica Dacic have also spoken.
