The acting minister of Infrastructure, Arba Abrashi, has held a meeting with leaders of the travel road transport association today, agreeing to rely on their demands because of losses caused by the pandemic.
Abrashi said that tomorrow there will be an agreement on principles, how to support road transport operators.
This association's <x0). And the members of the association have suffered severe losses because of the pandemic, then even because of the government's decisions on anti-David measures, and that has affected their loss. Under the budgetary opportunities we have had we made several releases last year, helping these operators maintain their jobs”, Abrashi said.
He made it known that after discussions they had with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, and Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami have drafted a framework that envisions a form of compensation.
This framework envisions these companies being helped within the package for economic recovery within the mile they make. Tomorrow we will have a principle agreement, while on Monday we hand over the final plan to the prime minister and finance minister. I think it's a good day for over 400 companies, about 6 thousand workers, who would support you by saving your jobs”, Abrashi said.
Last year, by the decision of Minister Abrashi, all road carriers have been relieved of travel order for three years, helping to keep their jobs.
