The Blind Association, through a Facebook response, has indicated that in last night's T7 debate, both analysts have affected and offended the community of the blind.
Panelist Luljeta Aliu during the debate says, ” what it looks like is I've hit the numbers”. While other panelist Isuf Thaci , former Deputy Education Minister during the debate says “Even the dead man can get shot at sometimes, but that's not gonna tell me he's got a good shot or he's got a good sign or he's got a good shot at the box.
Our commitment is greater when such unsuitable terminology is used by two analysts who claim to represent civil society, which is obliged to promote and protect the rights of the blind, not offend them. So we ask them to ask for a public apology for the language used”, the Association of Blind People wrote on Facebook.
