Even though we have learned from the post-war that every summer and winter it will look even better because of the arrival of our countrymen, this year everything changed.
Communists were unable to arrive, naturally there were even fewer incoming flights under Pristina International Airport - Adam Yasar.
From Pristina Airport, news reports have been made known that by the end of November of this year, 7 thousand and 440 flights have been realised, and 974,212 travelers were located.
During this year there were nearly 50% fewer flights and travelers, compared with the same period in 2019.
The data until November didn't give much hope that this would change in the period of holiday end of the year, but the opposite happened.
During the month of December, there were large numbers of fellow countrymen who came to Kosovo, via plane trips, cars or buses.
From December 19th 2020 to December 27, 2020, 480 flights have been completed under Pristina Airport, while from December 19th to December 23rd in Kosovo through the airport, over 25 thousand passengers have entered.
The number of passengers during 2019 was 2,373.877 courses in January-November 2020 was 974.443 or -85%, including December”, the Pristina Airport Information Office told them.
As compared to this year, in 2019 there were a total of 16 thousand and 38 flights in Pristina International Airport.
The arrival of fellow countrymen, of course, changed the very feeling of the holiday season, where 56 flights were realized at the airport in just one day, which also sparked hope of improving the situation created by the pandemic.
Also from Adem Jashari Airport, all necessary measures have been taken to overcome the challenges that were presented during the 2020 period.
