Producers complain: From circulation pandemic reduced by 50%, dialogue priority with Serbia

Since the spread of Coronavirus in Kosovo, producers have seen significant declines in circulation of up to 50%, said Burim Piraj from the company “Meka Halal Food”, in an interview for Online Economics, even he said they have been late and had difficulty even in terms of planned investments this year. Piraj [...]
He even said that they were late and that there were difficulties in terms of investments planned for this year. Piraj stressed there was no escape from workers because of Coronavirus.
With all the planning we've been doing this year, especially on the investment side, we've had trouble and we're too late. It also didn't enable us to create new profits, but thanks to God we haven't had any losses that we even call a success because in this situation we don't have a loss, we think it's a good job”.
“We during the initial month when Coronavius appears can say we didn't have any growth. But we've only been down by planning. However, in recent months especially during August, perhaps because of the lack of the arrival of our homelands from the diaspora that we have consumers of our products, there has been a significant decline that in general circulation amounts to 50%. We haven't had a job leave. We've had the usual escapes because of the failure to fulfill the duties, we've had nothing to do with Coronavirus.
On the other hand, he said the losses this year will be large enough, adding that there will be no good developments in the economy.
We worry that further losses will be greater because the reflection of initial losses can result with even greater losses. This month's end is not hopeful, but even now these days are not very hopeful that there will be good developments in the economy. So we are also preparing to deal with the situation and not to go to the loss and evacuation of the workers”, he added.
According to him, the country's institutions have been delayed in terms of economic recovery. The owner of the company, “Meka Halal Food”, reported that producers have problems with raw materials.
According to Pyright, dialogue with Serbia has taken much space and the economy has been put aside. He said over 20 years they've been running numerous demands in Government, but they've never received answers, reports Online Economics.
Our <x0) institutions have been delayed in all aspects, and it is not enough to make recovery that the word is having to do a great deal. We must speed up all measures even if a decision is made must be carried out immediately. Local producers have huge problems. They're having trouble with the first subject that's reduced and paid for by TVSh”.
Local producers subsidize the state budget. Therefore, major reforms must be made in our economy so that production can have priority and is seen as the representation for investments in Kosovo by potential international investors”.
The last “of the dialogue has taken too much space and the economy has been put aside. For 20 years we have had many requests, and nothing has been realized. Now I don't know if there are economists who are willing to present themselves to our institutions with their own problems when no one for 20 years has dealt with them”.
