Despite that she was not welcomed by all. The Democratic Party of Kosovo and Vetevendosje continue to reject it.
Kosovo and Serbia on 4 September at the White House have agreed to implement a series of agreements already reached, such as the one for the highway between Kosovo and Serbia, the one for railways and airlines.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in the presence of US President Donald Trump, have signed agreements on economic normalisation.
With this agreement, Kosovo has agreed that within a year it will not seek membership in international organisations, while Serbia on the other side has agreed that within a year it will stop the campaign to recognise Kosovo's independence.
Under the agreement, Kosovo will join “the mini-Schengen area”, which was created in 2019 and which already participate, Serbia, Albania and Northern Macedonia.
The deal also mentions Lake Weyman, which says the parties will work with the US Energy Department for a feasibility study, with the aim of joint use of the lake as a reliable supplier of water and energy.
It is also said that Kosovo and Israel accept each other, and that Serbia will move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
