As the statement from the prime minister reports, Pompeo has congratulated Prime Minister Hoti on reaching the agreement to normalise economic reports between the Republic of Kosovo and that of Serbia, the agreement that was signed at the White House in the presence of US President Donald Trump.
While Prime Minister Hoti, on behalf of the government and the people of Kosovo, has thanked the US for its continued support and is giving Kosovo.
“Prime Minister Hoti, praising the importance the agreement reached at the White House today, highlighted Kosovo's readiness for continuing dialogue with Serbia, leading to mutual recognition between the two countries. Prime Minister Hoti, in this case, has expressed the commitment of the Government of Kosovo, in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration”, said in the statement.
While Secretary Pompeo is said to be on hand, he stressed US readiness to support Kosovo in the process of dialogue and the full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
