MPs Rexhepi and Shala do not leave LDK to join Vjosa Osmani

The LDK deputies who opposed the collapse of the “Coalition of Hope” between the LDK VVʹ, Fatmir Rexhepi and Ardian Shala, however, will not join Vjosa Osmani in the initiative for a new political subject. MPs Rexhepi and Shala have said they will continue remaining in the LDK.

Vjosa Osmani, disappointed with the high hierarchy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, and after being dismissed in June from the party's leadership positions, has given clear signals that it will continue its division LDKú, its political journey after 20 years as part of it.

Osmani, who was the LDK's candidate for prime minister in the 6 October elections, will try to challenge the political scene with a new party.

The LDK's two deputies, Fatmir Rexhepi and Ardian Shala, who had also been rumoured that they could join Vjosa Osmani for reasons of the stated positions in the past when they had voted against the collapse of the Kurti government, however, will continue to remain in the oldest party in the country.

MP from Gjilan and former Interior Minister Fatmir Rexhepi told Gazeta Express that he is a member of LDK and that Osman has not discussed the matter.

On the other hand, LDKA deputy and president of the Suhareka branch, Ardian Shala, denied speculation that he would abandon the LDK.

The other LDK deputy who is listed after Vjosa Osmani, Haxhi Avdyli last night on the DPS show at Fidan in T7, said some of the LDK's cofounders and close associates of President Ibrahim Rugova will join Osman.

Avdyli said she also has the interest of her fellow countrymen, eminent names to join about a new subject that will have President Vjosa Osmani.

Meanwhile, the LDK deputy chairman, and Gjilan chairman Lutfi Haziri, who is being seen as the most neutral in the party trying to unite groupings inside wrote on Facebook “LDK together. Trust” implying that all should stay in the LDK.
