The number of citizens interested in conducting these tests is huge, but they refused to speak to the camera, while asking the Ministry of Health to take necessary action to implement even virological tests in the regions.
Teuta Feyza, director of the Regional Public Health Centre in Mitrovica, has made it known to KosovoPress, that only patients for the Cavid-19 PCR test, which are sent to IKSHP, where they are even working.
According to her, the number of people interested in these tests in the Mitrovica region, which included the municipalities of Scikyright and Vushtrri, is up to 40 per day, but sometimes it reaches 100 and the results are conducted within 24 hours.
“In Mitrovica's Regional Public Health Centre, there is a patient's failure to test Covid 19 PCR.. Patients are not sent to us, and samples are sent to IKSHP where they're working... Our interests are safe, true, correct, and worked by Kosovo's most dominant professors and doctors... we have an average if we include three municipalities, one day, 30, 40 days, we've had as many as 100 samples that we've worked on <1x> Fyza said.
Speaking of statistics, she said that until now in the municipality of Mitrovica 41 people have lost their lives from this virus and there are a total of 103 active cases until she appealed to citizens to respect the use of masks, distance and maintenance of hygiene.
There are 711 positive cases that have resulted, out of them 567 cases recovered, dead we have 41 cases, and at the moment are 103 positive cases... My message to citizens is the same as it originally, to respect distance, personal hygiene, and to wear mask”, Fyza stressed.
Fysullah Shehu, a clinical biochem specialist, simultaneously owner of the Jeded '% laboratory in Mitrovica, explained that in this laboratory there are serial tests of two types of antibody, M-class and G-class, while citizens can receive results within the hour.
According to him, 15 to 20 people are tested daily in this laboratory, and an analysis costs 20 euros.
He explained that citizens are more interested in the type of virological analysis, which determines whether the person has introduced the virus.
Our two weeks ago licensed lab labs run serological tests and that of both kinds of M-class antibodies, which show the current presence of the video that appears on the seventh day, and G-class antibodies that appear in two weeks ago... the interest in the population is huge... roughly 15 to 20 patients we care about in the day, the greatest concern is the type of analysis if they've introduced the virus... for one type of antibodies a 20-euro test, while for both is 40 euros...
On the other hand, officials from the Health Directorate in the municipality of Mitrovica have refused to talk about the issue, with the argument that the principal is on leave and they are not authorised to speak.
However, a Kosovo Press source within this Directorate has said that in the CKMF in Mitrovica, these tests are not conducted, as in some municipalities in the country, because the municipality has no special fund for such a thing.
Otherwise, under the new government decision, private health institutions in Kosovo cannot conduct virological tests, or according to method PCR for coronavirus, based on analysis of strussos samples in the nose and according to which it correctly determines whether there is actually a virus in the body.
