"Initially allow me to congratulate the police who attended the Dardana Karacheva" last night. Now they must continue in the other links of justice”, Kurti said at a news conference.
“The start is not the start”, he added.
The former Government Chief has said shares are needed in Pristina as well in fighting corruption.
If last night's crime was a major organized crime, then, I mean, it was only by tail. The head of this crime is elsewhere, perhaps in Pristina”, Kurti said.
The opposition leader has quoted international reports that fighting corruption started with “government Kurti”.
On 5 February, Kurti said Agim Veliu had gone to get permission for shares in Zubin Potok and Karachev. He said Veliu had not sent him any information.
This is not the way the Government should act and make the decision to Prime Minister”, he has said.
Kurti said Veliu had no documents.
I wish this time to be completely different. I could not accept such a suggestion. Permission for action where you had no details. All my former minister could offer, that he assured Miradija (former head of the Inspectorate) that everything would be okay. Even this vow was only oral”, he added.
