(6 years ago)Israel's new ambassador to Serbia, Jahel Vilan, has declared that the new state has not yet technically recognised Kosovo, but that it is part of an agreement in Washington, which it does not believe will affect the reports between Serbia and Israel. “That problem cannot be understood by anyone better than us at”, the ambassador said in an interview Friday, of Serbian media. “I don't understand everything that was said under our decision”, he added.
Consequently, according to him, it is important to explain this as well as possible, Serbian media report.
It is true that technically we are not there yet, but the statement by our prime minister and foreign minister is evidence. We recognise Kosovo, it is this part of the American package of measures until I will do my best to diminish the impact of that decision along with Serbia's leaders in reports between Serbia and Israel”, Vilan has said. \
