Health Minister Armenmen Zemaj has met Hilmi Jasharin, ombudsman in Kosovo, which has exchanged ideas and views for developing the culture of good governance, good management, transparency and accountability of public authorities to citizens of Kosovo.
Zemaj has written that the Ombudsman is one of the guaranteed institutions of democracy, the rule of law and human rights.
Therefore, recommendations from this institution aim to bring improvements to standards and the quality of public authorities' services to citizens. I expressed my willingness to cooperate with this very important institution, which, among other things, is a legal mechanism for protecting those deprived of freedom, who often remain in health institutions. And who will continue to receive treatment without being discriminated against”, he wrote.
