Gjilan Community Chairman Lutfi Haziri at the meeting held today with the Emergency Committee for the Prevention of Global Indices, have made assessments of the situation in fighting COVID-19 and, on the basis of statistics, said there is a constant decline in positive cases.
As the statement reports, Haziri after taking over the situation of the last few days and weekends from the Regional Public Health Centre, from the Gjilan Regional Hospital, from the Centre for Family Medicine, from Kosovo Police and civil emergencies, has found a steady decline in positive cases with Covid-19.
“State that have relaxed health levels in the two sectors, The QRSHP, police and civilian emergencies enjoy us with good news concerning COVID-19. Last day we had only one positive case, today we have 19 fully healed cases and we are working to keep positive cases out of our reach in Gjilan”, he said.
The Gjilan municipality in confronting COVID-19, from March 13 to today, has a total of 908 positive cases -- of them fully healed -- 737 patients -- 39 have lost their lives, while active cases are 132, of them 35 confirmed hospitalised cases with COVID-19 are 35 cases.
