Former Justice Minister from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks Albulen Haxhiu has accused the government, led by Avdullah Hoti, of ignoring the demands of the Kosovo Correcting Service in connection with its staff's involvement in the emergency package.
She in a Facebook post has recalled that at the time of the minister, she has paid special attention to the Correcting Service, but with Hot's coming to power, such a thing is no longer happening and as such is unacceptable.

At the time I headed the Ministry of Justice, we have paid particular attention to the Kosovo Correcting Service, even in the legislative plan, we have preceded the proceedings without delay of the special law for the USKK, with the aim of dignified training it.
In view of the danger of spreading COVID 19 to corrective institutions, we have committed a great deal to prevent the virus from affecting prisoners, and for this particular role, USKK staff who have been able to manage this service and protect the lives and health of prisoners. In view of the SHKK's unsatisfying work, we have included the correctional staff in the emergency package. Now, the current government is ignoring them in treatment and ignoring their demands is unacceptable. For a country, correctional service is very important so it needs dignified treatment.
