At the time I headed the Ministry of Justice, we have paid particular attention to the Kosovo Correcting Service, even in the legislative plan, we have preceded the proceedings without delay of the special law for the USKK, with the aim of dignified training it.

In view of the danger of spreading COVID 19 to corrective institutions, we have committed a great deal to prevent the virus from affecting prisoners, and for this particular role, USKK staff who have been able to manage this service and protect the lives and health of prisoners. So we haven't had a positive case with the COVID virus yet. 19.

In view of the SHKK's unsatisfying work, we have included the correctional staff in the emergency package. Now, the current government is ignoring them in treatment and ignoring their demands is unacceptable. For a country, correctional service is very important so it needs dignified treatment.
