Serry has encouraged AKK leader Naim Gashi to continue with good work and has pledged EU support for the Agency in efforts to strengthen independence and monitoring capacity.
“The EU calls on authorities to respect procedures when selecting members of the Agency's board and the Appeals Board. Authorities must support the agency to regain membership in international ENQA and ECAR organisations by providing the necessary legal and physical infrastructure”, the EU Office's statements said, among other things.
