“based on Article 84, in compliance with Article 90 of the Constitution and the coalition proposal we can do, for mandated formation of the government, chooses Zoran Zaev, the head of the LSDM and Parliament deputy”, Pendarovski said.
LSDM leader Zoran Zaev said North Macedonia will secure government that will continue the path towards the European Union.
The government programme will be in larger parts dedicated to the economy, to wage and pension increases, to investments in youth, growing and developing, in care of the poorest, in support of business in the country. I will lead the government, which does not know about the deviation from the road and which, after NATO membership, continues towards EU membership”, Zaev stressed.
Under the Constitution, the head of the LSDM within 20 days must secure parliamentary majority of 61 MPs for forming the new government.
The “coalition can be” won the elections, securing 46 mandates.
