Xhavit Haziri, one of the top KLA architects and founders, is the next figure to have taken a prominent place in “Memorable people” of the country's president, Hashim Thaci. Thaci has shared three special meeting moments with Xhavit Haziri. “first in the early 1990s when it was [...]
Thaci has shared three special meeting moments with Xhavit Haziri.
“first in the early 1990s when he was released from prison and when we met in Pristina. He thought and believed in actions differently than others and opposed the amulia and the stalemate of the Kosovo political movement.
The second is linked to its impressive insistence on advancing resistance steps by those protesters in armed organisation.
The third moment, however, was our meeting in war zones just days before it was dealt treacherously with by Serbian secret police. It was mid-August 1998 when Serbian offensives were at the peak and KLA resistance was maximum. Xavit was confident in victory, and as cheerful and smiling as he was always, he wrote.
Thaci's complete writing:
JAV IT HAZIRIA was one of the main designers and founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army. It was the evangelizing personality of the National Movement for Freedom and Independence. With the work, dedication, and bold ideas stemming from the will of the people, Xhavit Haziri managed to bring many natives around him from all parts of Albania.
I want to share with you dear friends three special meeting moments and joint work with Xavi.

It was mid-August 1998 when Serbian offensives were at the peak and KLA resistance was maximum. Xavit was confident in victory, and as cheerful and smiling as he always was, he went to return.
Javi lives with us. His idea won!
It is spoken of and written a little; but his work is great, and greater than any word that may be spoken. Xhavit Haziri's work was the state of Kosovo, the freedom of our people! HTH
